Explanation
What you present at the hospital reception is your「ほけんしょう(保険証)」(health insurance card). It is a card showing that you are enrolled in health insurance, and presenting it reduces the amount you pay. You do not present a「きっぷ」(ticket),「かさ」(umbrella), or「はし」(chopsticks) at a hospital. (I forgot my insurance card).
