- Explanation
- Telling your superiors the results or status of your work is「報告（ほうこく）」(report). We say「報告する」(to report) and「報告書（ほうこくしょ）」(written report).「予習」(preparing for a lesson),「掃除」(cleaning), and「返品」(returning goods) are not about telling someone something. Example:「会議の内容を報告します」(I will report on the contents of the meeting).
