- 「三人寄れば文殊の知恵」 means that even people who are not especially wise can produce a good idea if several of them gather and consult together. It is used in situations of discussing with companions rather than worrying alone. It is the opposite meaning of c1's 「一人の方がよい」 (it is better alone).
